I’ve always loved writing—about everything and about nothing. I still write holiday cards, and sometimes for no particular reason at all. Simply because I enjoy it. And because I always hold onto the hope that I might receive a few in return…

I remember someone once told me that if everyone wrote the way I do, the postal service would never go out of business—this was back when emails weren’t yet such a big part of life!I’ve always loved photography. For me, it’s the way I’ve found to express the world through my eyes. Unfortunately, my skills in drawing, painting, or any other hands-on artistic expression fall short of what I wish they were—hence, photography.

Traveling, wandering, walking through streets, driving along roads just for the joy of it, discovering hidden corners, returning to places I’ve visited countless times and still finding something new; getting to know new traditions, cultures, forms of expression—or simply different perspectives, discovering different worlds within this World—has always fascinated me!In this blog, I bring together several passions: writing, photography, and travel. For me, it’s a space for sharing—nothing more, nothing less.

Desde sempre gostei de escrever acerca de tudo e acerca de nada. Continuo a escrever cartões de Boas Festas e até em outras ocasiões, só porque sim. E porque tenho sempre esperança de receber uns também…

Lembro-me que tinha quem me dissesse que se todos escrevessem como eu, os Correios nunca iriam acabar,  isto numa época em que ainda nem se falava tanto em emails como agora!

Sempre gostei de fotografias. Para mim são a forma que encontrei para expressar o mundo através dos meus olhos. Infelizmente a minha capacidade de desenhar, pintar, ou outra qualquer expressão manual fica aquém das minhas expectativas, daí a fotografia.

Viajar, passear, calcorrear ruas, conduzir ao longo de estradas por puro prazer, descobrir recantos, regressar aos locais onde estive vezes sem conta e descobrir qualquer coisa de novo; conhecer novas tradições, Culturas, modos de expressão ou simplesmente perspectivas diferentes,  conhecer mundos diferentes neste Mundo, sempre me encantou! 

Neste blog junto várias paixões: a escrita, a fotografia, as viagens. Para mim é o meu espaço de partilha, nada mais do que isso. Por isso Benvindos “quem vier por bem“!
