Quem me conhece sabe que gosto de tirar fotografias . Quase como a formiga, guardo recordações no tempo bom para saborear no tempo mau. Trago sempre comigo a minha máquina fotográfica, para “o que der e vier”. A curiosidade de descobrir novos sítios, a certeza de encontrar recantos encantadores nos locais mais inesperados faz-me acreditar que vale a pena carregar mais um extra na mala.

Desta vez não encontrei só um recanto, encontrei esta magnífica paisagem, uma barragem sobre o Farmington River: Saville Dam – Barkhamsted Reservoir, no estado de Connecticut, nos EUA.

Those who know me well know how much I love taking photographs. Much like an ant preparing for winter, I collect memories in the good times to savor during the not-so-good ones. I always carry my camera with me—just in case, for whatever may come. The curiosity to discover new places, the certainty that I’ll stumble upon charming corners in the most unexpected locations, makes it worth the extra weight in my bag.

This time, I didn’t just find a charming corner—I found a breathtaking landscape: a dam over the Farmington River—Saville Dam, at the Barkhamsted Reservoir, in the state of Connecticut, USA.
